That engine looks so tiny.....
One engine from the past that would look good was the 2 litre V8 made from to 1 litre Yamaha blocks joined on a single crank. Luverly...
But feel free to ignore my rants and raves, that car is looking very nice.

Ian,
Looking very tasty mate! I know what those engines are capable of, because I've been on top of one all morning! The journey to work has never been more fun, even if it was a little damp!
Can't wait to see it when it's done.
Cheers
Matt

I'm being optimistic and reckon on 3 weeks.
Then a couple more to put on the nice bits that SVA don't allow - rear wing, front splitter, rear diffuser, NOS etc etc.
But then I'm an optimistic pessimist.

Looks good Ian/Craig! On a slightly less technical issue, what seats are you using? Are they the Westie race ones? I am debating whether to get some for mine.... are they comfy? Spose you couldnt post a decent pic of them for me... pretty pls?!

At present westfields 'normal' fibreglass seats are in the car - no covering or padding. You can get them leather covered for abou £200 quid - but doing so makes them heavy (not good for us).
We are sourcing carbon fibre seats - they are light (which we like) but not that comfy for long journeys (which we'll probably never do).
I'll try find a photograph for you m8.
Ian.

Howard - I think driving this car along a motorway full of HGVs will be more scary than craner at 140mph
We have to assess how safe the car is for road use - we'll defo drive to dono - and obviously into town for the shopping run (that should get a few interesting glances).
You know you are welcome to visit us at a track m8.
