A follow up to my last post where I was so immensely happy to finally own one after years of scoobydom happiness...

Had a challenge full race system fitted to the car today and drove back down the A1 through Hatfield tunnel - I have parachuted, bungeed, even flown in the front seat of a Tornado in 92, but crikey, the noise in 3rd gear through the tunnel had the hairs rising on my neck through sheer adrenalin and hooligan joy, more than anything ever before! I never thought just driving a car would make you whoop and act like a child - and I'm quite embarassed - hence my post to share it Doh!

Now I understand all you scoobysport modifiers of post manifold -
it IS worth a bit of work on your car...

i went through the hatfield tunnel in a friends corvette (top down)

now i'm no great fan of US muscle cars but it sounded the b*ll*cks.

Went thru there in my Saff and shat myself when hitting the limiter in fifth, it was so violent i thought i'd blown it.

Hatfield tunnel + 3-door Sierra Cosworth + Bailey piston dump valve = both windows down & repeated nailing it and backing off. Never mind the fact it was december and we were freezing our **** off

U can't beat a race can on a bike then whacking the throttle open inside a tunnel, most car drivers **** bricks when they hear you coming. My scooby sounds wicked also. You just can't help but grin

I used to do that on my bmx Caz...nice trick...still workin on getting the scoob to sound like that!
