Probably too late or non-sensical, but why not get if serviced in Germany if that's where you're picking it up. surely any required parts & labour are cheaper. (obviously the MOT would have to be done here.)
I could be totally wrong, just putting a thought across.

Nice, ive got an e30 m3, are those wheels 17 inch??? and BBS.
And what suspension have you got?
How many miles has it done, if you dont mind me asking?
By the way, ive had my car for about 3 and a bit years now and still love it.
Looks a very nice car by the way mate.
Is the car an evo 2???........although i noticed you have a evo sport rear spoiler there dont you?, and ive never seen an evo sport in white.
What do you think of it then??

You say you want it serviced in London, i could give you a number to call, but its as close to being in Scotland as you can get.
But this bloke is the dogs conkers, and does alot of the work for Moseley motorsport, if you are interested, let me know and i will give you his number.
Let me put it this way, BMW want about a grand to replace the timing chain on a e30 m3, probably by some bloke who has never seen one before, where as this bloke will do it for about £200 ish, and he could take your car apart and put it back together blindfolded, seriously, he REALLY knows what is what.

OOPS.........didnt read that you have decided to go with Munich legends.......oh dear......get that wallet out.

Well, I did it..... flew out to South Germany on Saturday and bought this car. It is in better condition than I could have ever hoped for.... and only stood me 11,000 euros including fuels costs, ferry flights etc etc

Different from the Scoob, but I love it already.

Munich Legends can get it through the MOT without the need to do any drilling

Wheels are 17"... 215 on front, 235 on rear. The rims are BBS 3-piece, very nice IMHO

It was for sale on e30.de (enthusiast website) and on mobile.de (German Autotrader type website)

Should mention now and thank a couple of the guys on this website who live and work in Germany and helped me with the task interrogating the previous owner in German. Thanks!!!

Car has Koni shocks and springs....not my first choice but I'm actually v.impressed.

Car is not an EVOII, it is the 215ps stock one, but the guy who owned it worked for BMW and had done a fair bit of work to the engine

Has the EVOII front and rear spoilers as you can see...genuine BMW jobbies I might add.

I love it and don't think I'll lose money on this like I did the scoob ..... don't really care though, if I wanted to invest I'd get an ISA

Cool

V V V Nice car! Quick question, why is it parked on the drive and that nasty blue MkIV escort is taking up garage space?

Heh heh...that is the German guys house.... think the escort was his daily drive for work. You should have seen the kit in that garage, it was like a BMW workshop.

His dad had one of the new M3's in that garage also... very nice.

Still a great car, get shot of those wheels tho, E30's look best when totally standard, otherwise they are too easy to be mistaken for Friday night tat.

the pics definately don't do it justice.... aside from alpine white .... I think red is the best colour.

When I was shopping around I was onlyinterested in finding a white or red un.

You seen that article in 'Total BMW' magazine about the Motec ECU fitted by Powerstation???

I've had work done on my scoob by the lads at Powerstation and would be more than happy to let them play with my E30...

Apparently a lightly modded E30m3 will give out 240bhp with a motec and cone filter, they reckon mine with the existnig mods should do far better.... don't think 270 is unreasonable!!! Never thoulght it was possible out of an S14 engine.

Ah well... RR at powerstation on the 12th of Aug... see what its got in current state then maybe lookbehind the sofa for £2500 to do the ECU...
