Question

Looked at a used selespeed today - a stopgap before a new car comes.

Great car, top condition.... but I'm worried about the gearbox

Anyone had any experience with them?

My flatmate had an early one and has had no probs with the gearbox actuation as such. On reflection he thought it was a bit of a gimmick and thus unless you really really want one (and you will probably need at least an hour's test drive to work this out) the manual is probably the more sensible option. Maybe the revised version is 'better'....

A guy at work had one. His box was replaced twice under warranty. In the end he sold it for a Merc.
He said the car was nothing but trouble from day one.
