Default RS3 8V Sedan - A Natural Progression

I joined Scoobynet 16 years ago and in that time I had 2 classics, 1 bug and 3 blobs. Had a play with an Evo VI, Supra, Golf R, Focus ST and RS to where am I now with my RS3 that I've owned for the past year. Before the RS I had some time testing a 2017 GTR, but it wasn't for me. The RS3 ticked all the boxes and since I went stage 2 is pretty savage and without a doubt the best car I've owned to date in terms of being a total package. Currently Stage 2 running approx 500bhp / 460TQ. Plan to go stage 3 end of the year with a built bottom end and TTE700 hybrid turbo setup with water methanol injection. Should be around the 576bhp / 512TQ mark then.

Lovely motor. A blue sportback is definitely in my future plans. As you say they tick all the boxes.

So why consider the sti in your other thread? It seems a bit of a step down?

I'm wanting to get into AutoX here, I'll always have a soft spot for the scooby and getting back into a manual would be a lot of fun. I'll be stripping it out and making it a full blown weekend car. The RS3 is my fast family daily.

Very nice. I'd love to give a car over to someone and get the kind of engine mods you're talking about - not so fussed on the polishing side of things, but looks mint.

Nice car...how does the Bevelbox (front transfer box) cope with that extra oomph?

I know the older VAGs (8P) had issues, casing cracking or bearing wear causing it to blow an oil seal which in turn seizes from lack of oil.
