I'm on a quest to find an old-ish (late 70's) motor with serious power/easy torque but with fairly discrete looks...
Will be kept fairly permanently as a second/third car, aim is to have something that won't lose its value.
After watching Ronin at the weekend I think a 450 6.9 could be a winner....
Any one had any driving/owning/purchasing experiences with one of these?
I'd also be keen to to most of the maintenence myself (although I undestand the suspension is a little 'tricky'

Hehe - that's when I first heard about them...
It was up there with the HispanioSuiza or whatever it was called.
(Why do I still remember at least half the stats over 20 years later when I can't remember my mobile number?)

No 450s here, but it's worth a look anyway for some tasty mid-80s S-class Mercs and a '63 split-screen 'vette .... yes please ...
