Default the only sard MR2 mc8 road car

A True unicorn! This thing was made as a homologation so Toyota could race in lemans

It had been missing for over 20 years there was only one ever made! And resurfaced last year.

Sold for about 25k I think. Looks like its been well used. The race car had a twin turbo v8 but the road one had the n/a v8

If your into rare/ special edition JDM cars you'll find it fascinating even if it does look abit tatty and "kit car" ish

Well it sure is different..! Have owned a few MR2's in the past my self. N/a and Turbos. Have been looking fo something 'special' like a genuine late TRD model Turbo and missed one a few months ago in japan Have a soft spot for the MR2s

Maby so but you could call it the rarest car in the world because its strictly 1/1 there's a pic of it next to a standard mr2 somewhere and then you get a idea of how massive this thing is 13 inch wide rear wheels!

Does look like thy bodged it together though just for the racing regulation rules

Ugly maby cool definitely!

2000gt? How much was it up for? Plenty of shoddy fibreglass replicas about but the genuine ones are truly beautiful cars!

Nice just had a search on ebay though and there's fek all mr2 tubbys for sale. I suppose good ones (like classic imprezas) are getting like hens teeth due to age
Although I heard mr2s are pretty rott proof compared to the classic rust buckets

What's funny about that mc8 is they screwed on a standard mr2 gear **** with 5 speed shift pattern. But the cars got a 6 speed Porsche tranny

And I highly doubt that old v8 Lexus lump revs to 10k rpm
