My insurance is up this month and i'm having a bit of an issue with the year of my car.
It's a JDM imported newage, year 2000 on the log book as it was manufactured in December 2000.
The problem i have is every insurance company thinks this is a classic STI and not a newage. They only recognize bugeyes as being 2001-2002.
This past year I've realized that i've been insured as a 1994-2000.
if i insure it as a classic it's £1000, as a newage it's £700! Has any one else had this problem and what did you do?

Hi,
Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you like. If you wanted to PM me some contact details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.
Regards,
Dan.

Are you saying that when i insure it i just do it as a 2001? Being an import it can never find the car on the reg, so i have to search for the car and then the reg later.
Cheers Dan, I got a quote from flux yesterday based on a 2001 which i'm happy with. I've sent you a PM.
