Default 1997 JDM WRX STI V3 TYPE R

Car is in excellent condition inside and outside for its age . All the work carried below has been done in the last year regardless of cost . I have a folder with history of the car from Jap to British from import also have receipts of everything that has been done in my ownership . The car always gets attention where ever I go in it .


Spec list of car


Full respray in 230 white and Jun splitter done at RM Bodyshop in East Kilbride


Engine built by Steve Whitson of SW MOTORSPORTS in Edinburgh


Engine spec


Spec c short block
V3 sti heads fully refurbed and skimmed
1.6mm cometic head gaskets
11mm ARP headbolts
New sump
New water pump
All belts replaced with new
vf23 turbo
440 yellow injectors
RCM induction kit
HDI FMIC
New 255lph Walbro fuel pump
SAMCO turbo inlet pipe
Recirculating valve
All fluids and oil filter replaced


New radiator and bottom hose and clips fitted by me

Ecu still standard on standard ecu at the moment .

Exhaust


Full 3" Turbo back HKS system with carbon back box with ti tip


Brakes


Brembos fitted front and rear
Discs and pads replaced in September


Suspension


22mm front ARB Whiteline
front ball joint droplinks Whiteline
24mm rear ARB Whiteline
Hardrace 10 piece kit fully adjustable
New Tein Type Flex coilovers


Wheels and Tyres


18x7.5 5x100 ET48 Revolution Milleniums
Falken 452 215/40/18


MOT'd until October this year

Shell has done a 142000 mixture of km and miles
Fresh engine has done 42k




Car is located in Scotland

Any idea what power the car is running?

Very interested, even though your in Scotland and I am in Devon! But I have gone further to collect a car in the past!

A little update bc coilovers are removed and in the bin so new tein coilovers fitted ride height adjusted and GEO fast road set done straight after

Hi did the guy who set your geo up adjust the coilover height with the rest of it or did you do that yourself?

It was all done by hypertech a subaru specialist .

Because its still on standard ecu and its not cheap to buy new and have it mapped .

A little update car is now booked in with Andy Forrest for supplying a ESL my97/98 fit and road map next month so the price will change .
