Not much in the way of comments. I guess people don't like the 944 ?

Thanks. A very different drive to the Subaru but just as enjoyable.

What is it you like about the 944? Is it a turbo model? To most people Porsche means a 911 in one or the other of its many guises. Your car looks nice though. Great garage too!

I've always liked the shape of the 944 and wanted something my son could help me tinker with.
This one is the non turbo Lux. It's difficult to find many for sale over here. I had been looking for over a year.
The 911 is an awesome machine but sadly out of my league at the moment.

Love the 944's. I had a turbo years ago, was 'chipped' too. Was quite rapid actually. Wasn't that impressive when I bought the car but (as with a lot of the plastic dump valves) the oe recirc valve was leaking on boost, simply reversed it and the boost was back with a vengeance! Interesting fact was, it was once owned by Mr lateral, aka Mark. Was looking trough the paperwork and up he popped as a prev owner.

They are a lovely shape with their flared arches. Also handling is very good with the engine in the front gearbox in the back layout.

What model?
My dad had two 924 Turbos back in the day. It's funny because they seemed quick but are only about 175bhp! Light though.
The wife's mum had a new one - an S I think.
Yours is in great nick and you can't beat Guards Red on the early Porsches. Enjoy!

It's the Lux with the 2.5 engine. Not that quick but an enjoyable drive.

supposed to have the smoothest 4cyl engine ever

Although I think I would prob go for the 928 if I was going to a classic Porsche that was not a 911

928 I would imagine they would go well with that big V8. My dream would be a nice 911.
