Default Well, i picked up the new motor....

.... and she's great. A few pics which i'm sure won't go down too well on a scooby forum Bit dirty from the commute this morning but the paint is great in the flesh.

The colour is individual Petrol Mica, according to BMW systems there are only TWO in this colour in the entire country, this and 1 other. It's a black but when the sun hits it turns to dark blue/dark green flake type colour, have to say pics dont do it justice at all it's a really nice finish.

She's a 60 plate E92 M3 with DCT and basically every optional extra from the factory, Harmon Kardon sound, EDC, Heated seats, power fold mirrors, front and rear sensors, etc etc.

Not imagining anyone will be overly enamoured but i love it, comfort, noise, power and a real sense of occasion

Tomorrow my sparkly new avante garde M359 in hyper silver will be fitted which should look lovely.

Very nice

I always fancied one, just never even tried one, closest i got was a Focus ST-2 - after pumaspeed had finished it was 310bhp, spat flames for fun and was a really nice car. Love those 5 pot engines.

Completely different power wise. Completely linear, the scooby throws it all at you, the v8 gets stronger the higher in the Rev range, it's a weird sensation when you're used to most cars dying the higher they Rev, it feels like it wants 20,000rpm the way it keeps pulling and getting stronger and stronger. It's just the perfect car for me, comfort, all the gadgets, plenty of poke and a noise which is second to none. Can't go wrong.

What the hell were you doing with an old Impreza if you can afford such machinery!

No wonder you posted up about the crap interior and hatred. You should at least have bought a JDM hatch STI for the money!

I love the saloon in these, but then I'm a fast saloon lover

Some of us like our old Imprezas regardless of what we can afford

An E92 M3 is a lovely piece of kit and would be my choice over any Impreza to spend time in, in a traffic jam or on a motorway. I'd opt for an E90 in manual personally, although I know the DCT suits the S65 well.

It's another story though come 5 am on a BST Sunday and 100 miles of the finest B-roads to be devoured before breakfast. It won't be the German keys that I'll be reaching for.

3.30am today on b road *******s tried to catch me in the village on 30mph zone, they stay quarter mile behind me untill i enter village. Ive seen them way before(bmw halo front lights)
and no one speed up so quick to tailgate You.
I wouldn't do 100miles trip for blast to lose license.
nice m3,way better than chinese plastic/jdm crap
