On a car that age, you'll want to check very carefully for signs of body rot, and since it's an import, make sure it's been undersealed properly. Head-gaskets can also a be worry on the turbo models especially, but other than that great little cars.

Give Sureterm a ring about insurance, I used to have classic policy with them (domestic and leisure only) for my H-reg Celica GT4, came in at around 1/3 what I was paying at the time for my Scoob.

Hi,
If you need any help with insurance at all then please feel free to drop me a line. We have classic cars schemes that can cater for this type of vehicle.
Regards,
Dan.

The slightly newer facelift sw20s are better handling and more powerfull! Imo they need doing up to loose that poor mans ferrari/ hair dressers image
P.s all the turbos are imports
