depends how quick you need to move it on,price it under the market for a swift sale

price it the same as the others if you want it sitting on your drive wasting its mot

They are nice cars, but obviously due to their thirst and not being the quickest thing out there either (and FWD), they have a very limited market.

I do like them, but I wouldn't want to own one either. Just because you see some up for sale for more money, it doesn't mean they are selling for that much (haggling down on price or being part ex'd etc), presuming they even sell at all.

my (admittedly) limited experience tells me that priced to high and you simply get zero inquiries

nothing

apart from the genuine buyers are willing to buy it, unseen, and ask for your bank details

and not type approved for a tow bar - that's crazy

I would not buy a car that could not have a tow bar fitted

£ 1700 would be what I would pay for it, if I was looking to buy an estate car.

I traded a VGC 53 mk IV Legacy 3.0R saloon on about 50000 miles for £2200 in April. It was advertised by a dealer for £3999 but still hasn't been taxed 6 months later. A somewhat similar car, people don't want big petrols and can't see beyond tax and fuel costs. Unless someone changed the plate.

that is undoubtedly true

unless the car has a USP, like 4x4 or "real" performance, people just see an expensive to run barge

the "good mway cruiser" no longer applies as a 2ltr diesel also does that job and gives you double the MPG

The Dieseasels are massively popular, unfortunately the only V6's that ever seem to sell are the Performance Blue ones.

It looks nice. Always preferred the estate to the hatch/saloon.

Tow bar is due to the exhaust. It was the same on my ST225. The silencer runs the width of the rear, just beind the bumper, theres no where to mount the tow bar too

Its a £800 trade but as previously said its worth what someone will pay for it.
Stick it on ebay at 99p start & it might suprise you what you get for it.

Love how everyone on here says its not worth much because its not 4WD..... Yes there not that fast & they are thirsty but a lot of people still love them & yes their great on motorway. Make your choice price it to sell or price it to maybe sell
