Default What to get?

So i have a 9-10k budget to get a car, milage wise i dont do huge amounts (prob 12k a year) so mpg isnt that important.

Looking away from scoobs and been eyeing up m3's, not found any that caught my eye as of yet that havn't sold in 3 seconds lol, so got me thinking what else is out there.

basic requirments,

Decent power
none FWD
Not too big (5 series bmw is about the biggest i'd go to)

other than that im pretty open minded abotu whast out there, even had a nosey at a boxster S

So, any thought's/sugestions?

I can highly recommend a Monaro vxr, sold mine about 6 weeks ago and it was a hoot to drive. They are surprisingly good on fuel consumption if you can behave your self with the loud peddle and the looks and sound put a huge grin on your face!
