Question Good roads for mapping Stalybridge ?

I now it's a bit specific, but I need some nice straight flat roads in the Stalybridge area for some road mapping. Last time me and JGM used between the Asda and bt roundabouts in Ashton, as that's just around the corner from the police station it's not really ideal. Previously I drove Simon up and down the motorways and all over but couldn't find a road flat enough.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

wow, have not had a remap myself as yet so did not realise the need for this. you do have a bit of a problem there bud as i know stalybridge cos i deliver there (home bargains/quality save) so i know what you mean. how fast do you need to go? is it just accelerating into 6th? (booting it?) i suppose the m60 RR is your best bet although not ideal, surely snake pass and across onto the 62 back down to j19 and back through should well do it? i reckon about 35 mins drive. you should get a few good flat pieces that route. or what about coming off at the oldham J, quite flat there isnt it?

when I had mine mapped by JGM few years back, I used the east lancs road A580, only about 20 mins or so from stalybridge (use the m60 on the way so he can do some stuff there)
