Yep cheers Rich - as I said, your car looked great and the BHP was fantastic. Really good day, and cars were great, especially the "as new, 1 lady owner" Fiesta
Good to see you all again, til next time.
DW
Steve_f, Bob, Mellow - which way did you go home? I was catching you up, but you turned off near Ikea.

DW, we swung off up the M602 to Mc D's for some scram! Bob went on home I think (to begin repairs perhaps? ) and Mellow took Jon the scenic route back. I went home via m/way.
Sorry we missed you m8, next time.

Craft,
According to the Well Lane peeps, their own blow off valve I had fitted was the only reason I had the 30 BHP increase over standard !
Nothing whatsoever to do with full HKS system

Bunch of bloody anoraks.
Wouldn't find me standin round in a freezing carlot all day watching someone doing half an MOT on 25 cars
Well not EVERY week, but Men & Motors are there next week and then...
Rich, contact Colegate and and see if they need a new model for their TV ads, then contact Auto Glym and ask the same question
Great day M8!

Everyone is quite welcome.
Glad you all enjoyed it.
Thanks to everyone for coming the turnout was excellent, just a shame we had to finish when we did. Quite a few people wanted a run and couldn't get one due to demand.
I'll be organising another around end of March as my brother wants to run his too and he's out of the country at the mo.
Big thanks to Well Lane for making everything run smoothly.
And thank you to Jap Innovations for all the work they've done on my car that has taken it from a 208bhp standard UK to a 320bhp monster!!
Thanks also to Scoobyscene for providing the NF octane booster that I'm sure contributed as well.
I'll be posting figures later today and pics later this week.
The top ten runners will appear in Banzai in about 2 months and Bladerunner is kindly submitting your graphs to the Well Lane page on the dyno site.
See you all soon.
Rich (still grinning)

Just to add my thanks Rich, great day.
The first rolling road session at Well Lane I went to was February 2001 where approximately 15 cars attended. This was my third time at Well Lane and each time the numbers keep growing. It's great to see so many Scoob's in the North especially as I rarely see many on the majority of my driving.
Rich your gonna have to go some to top this. All it needed was a few scantily dressed woman to sit on the bonnets LOL!!
Damian.

Thanks Rich, Brilliant organising...
Am still recovering from my Crap run 230 Bhp,
BUT GOOD NEWS.....
The Faults been traced....A small pipe had blown off.......
So i went to well lane today (had a quick power run)and power is at 265bhp . (just to make sure i had a run without the pipe and lost 18bhp straight off).
I will return..........hehehehe

Hi Mike,
Glad to hear you sorted the problem. I've left the graphs at Well Lane for you to collect.
Unfortunately I didn't mark people's names and mods on the sheets,so I'll mail you the list of names and mods so you can cross refer them to the Reg nos recorded on the graph sheets
Cheers
Rich
Oh, by the way, did I tell you I got 318bhp?

Looks like I may have some competition in the future with Rich......... nice day..... I think Rich would be best looking at a 30bhp Nitrous jet next - for cheap gains.... see some of the PE run notes..
Bladerunner - not bad - 265bhp! - about time you spent a few grand and got that extra ....erm....few bhp............
A lot of people seemed down on the day - mine was about right (for Well Lane (at least its been consistent for me) based on the boost problem...
Will get the Actuator sorted (again!) on the turbo so that it can hold boost - would only hold 1.3 bar - so I was a bit miffed to say the least.. I think Kev was just as disappointed as me!
See ya at the next run.......
Think Kevin got a bit upset when I asked him if he had change for a £20 on the session - I must have misheard him say it was less than this.....haha

I wouldn't worry Robby.
151 isn't bad at all considering the car only has a couple of thousand miles on the clock. Those 16 valves need a fair few miles yet before you get the most out of them.
Remember the old 16 valve Golfs? a 70k miler would stuff a new one. The older they got, the better they got.
Even so 151bhp in a light car with no 4wd losses, spend a few quid and you could worry a standard WRX from the lights.
Hope you enjoyed it anyway!
