MOORS RUN SUN 6 JAN 02
#1
York resident here. The best road in the whole area, I promise, is the Cockayne Loop on the North York Moors, an ex British Rally stage. Done it once behind and experienced EVO owner/racer (you know who you are). Cooked my brakes, scared myself to death (and I was driving myself!!), but had the best drive of my life. It's a PS2 rally stage come to life! Up for it? Sunday 6 Jan 02, 10am? Meet at Helmsley on A170, north of York. Plenty of places for the post-run debrief at Helmsley too. Cheers. Roger

Aaargh! Relatives have decided to hit on Sunday, my humblest apologies. But that's not to say you guys shouldn't continue. If you do make it, have a good one. Pop into a newsagent and look at a 50 thou' map and see the Cockayne Loop starting at Helmsley and running in a loop North onto the Moors and back south again. Sorry guys.

OOOOOPPPS,
Hi Roger and Guys,
I didnot see this post until this afternoon, But I hope everyone enjoyed Cokayne, and, managed to stop for the gates !!!!!!!!!!! As I remember from Rogers introduction to the Loop he was quite white when he got halfway round, same could not have been said for his discs which were a merry glow. Really dissapointed to have missed out on what IS the best and most frightening road in Nth Yorks, but a combination of a bent Evo ( now looking good again)and work kept me away from the board for a week or two.
I WILL NOT miss the next one.
