Many thanks Andy.....brilliant day....superb driving...well done Paul....good grounding for when you move up to a scoob 
It was interesting to see three out of eight of us attained sub 35 seconds on the final but not good enough to make our way up to the front....you all had wider karts I think
When's the next one then

Spot on day. Sorry I couldn't hang around to chat over a drink but I had to get back up to Cumbria. Next time I'll make sure I'm in the final. Every time I go karting, I just miss out.

I had a top day aswell, met even more great people
Did anyone get a results sheet, I never saw where I placed, I shouldn't imagine it was very high mind! I think I might have to loose some weight for the next one

Glad everyone had a good time and great laugh! Have to book another one again soon - quite like this karting business.
Will post the results in a bit - only just got in (hence the late post)!
Thumbs up to Paul for 1st, Dave for a close 2nd and Adge for 3rd! Chris will hopefully stop sulking eventually!

Thanks everyone for making it such a great day, and Andy for organising it.
And my 1st place trophy looks great on my desk at work (right next to my other karting trophy! - http://www.team17.com/summer00_2.html)
Hopefully we can arrange another one sometime soon.
And as Nikko pointed out above, I don't even drive a scooby - hope that won't disqualify me from the next event!
