Thought I'd start a new thread for this bit to keep things neater as it is important and I thought people wouldn't want to search through several pages, as they might miss it.

Well Lane is confirmed for the 3rd Feb 2002.

It will cost £20 per car, so don't forget your cash (I did last year and had to scrounge off my brother!!)

It starts at 9.15am, so please try to be there around 9am for a prompt start.

I'll post the full list of attendees and reserves here once everyone has confirmed.

NOTE: To any who have never been on one before (and everyone else- who should know this anyway)
The Well Lane people wil probably tell you this on the day BUT...

Your car will be taken to the red line in top gear at least once, so PLEASE check it over before you come for Tyre pressures, oil level, coolant level and any potential leaks etc. The last thing we want is someone's car blowing up cause there's no oil in it or you've got a dodgy radiator hose or summat!
Well Lane are not liable if anything happens on the rollers, so bring enough dosh for your train fair too

I don't think they've ever had a problem before, but I'm just being cautious.

On a lighter note, I plan to take a photo on the day of each car on and off the rollers, so you've all got a memento of the day.
When I post the results, I'll do it with a pic of your car (reg.plate removed) unless anyone specifically objects.

Also, to smooth things on the day and make it run a bit quicker, if all confirmed attendees will email me the following information on their car before the 1st Feb 2002, I can print out something ready to give them on the day, which will make my recording of the figures quicker and also will help Well Lane, as they like to know what mods you've got, just so that they know the limits of your vehicle FIRST.

The Info I need is:

Your Name
Your Car Type (UK,P1,WRX etc.)
Model Year
Reg No.
Any Mods(Power related)
Max normal boost (if known)

Cheers

I'm a trained technician and have abslolutely no problem taking anyones car to the redline... I'm getting nervous about someone doing the same to my baby though

hey hum, should be a good day, never seen rollers in action before

Bob

No probs Robby,

Anyone who wants to come on the day on the off chance of a run is welcome. The max we can reasonably cope with is 15-20 cars.
Obviously nearer the time we'll know for definate who's coming but on the day, there's always one or two that don't turn up for one reason or other. There are currently some on the reserve list who can slot in if those on the main list drop out. It'll basically be first come first served. If we finish early, anyone else who wants a go is welcome. I'm sure they won't turn your money away.

Cheers
