Second National Wagon Meet @ NBO5 - Northern Big One

Sun 17th June at Lightwater Valley Theme Park, Rippon, N Yorkshire.

#Wagon Corner# will be limited to 12-15 Wagons due to size of stand allocated.

NBO 5 which will be held on Sunday 17th june at Lightwater Valley Theme Park.

Rippon N Yorkshire this is a central location within the uk and offers fantastic facilities including toilets and catering and of course the theme park for the Kids and young at heart and as always a reduced admission charge and they have donated the field to us so all money raised goes into our Charity fund.

Hi Simon, welcome back

Your ears must have been burning as we were only just discussing people that attended last year to see if they wanted to do it all again. So your more than welcomed. parking will be tighter and limited this year, not sure of the pitch we have yet, so get there early so we can get you on. Once we have the squadron parked up we will get on as many as we can.
I will keep you in the loop.

Attendance on the stand is by invite only, if you think your wagon has what it takes then PM us with pictures and spec.

Please note that although your name is down on the list, that there will need to be a cut off time to get on the stand by in the morning, this means that we can give people from the reserve list a chance to show if you dont make it. we will make very effort to park all other wagons together somewhere, who cant get on the general stand due to size.

It should indeed be a good display, Krud has been putting us through intensive formation parking routines, even night reversing manouevres including cones to make sure our skills are honed

..Are we nuts... Definitely

heres the info posted by John Harding:

full Information thread going up slowly but we are looking for all Club stand members ONLY to atend LV for 9-930 am to allow one and a half hours to set up your displays before the show opens at 11am
As always it will be a bit <hectic> but hopefully not like last year when we were given a new field with 10 minutes notice !!!but 1.5 hours shouldbe enough for you all to do your 'erections'

Anyone else wanting to wander in at 10 will be turned away as the marshals are involved in many other dutys too and it is a H&S risk with people driving and wandering around the field

We are looking forward to having your wagon on the stand, it nearly didnt happen but we have come out on top

 

i'll be there about 9 then to help

hello all
im sure you all have missed me i have not dropped off the planet
me and the hammer are fine and well wishing i could be there with you
all, to make mine sparkle like last time. I cant be with you as we was married
on the 9th june sat and we are flying out today for our honeymoon
and cant attend so i wish all of you a great day and please win the best stand at the nbo (AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!) and i hope to catch up with you all very soon

We will have two gazebos, so just bring a chair. I am working out route timings for saturday will then let you know if you can join us for the trip up.
