Hope you all had a top day.
Unfortunately I only got chance to tag along for the last section of the run - Kirkby Stephen to Kirkby Lonsdale
. Followed Chris's P1, a MY01 and the Clio 172 - Clio was well impressive given the conditions.
I'll be there for the full run next time.

Are you having a break/meet point half way for those (including me)
who only want to do the second day to tag on?
I suspect after 110 or so miles, some people would want to drain the lizard (or whatever) before the next 110, just a suggestion
maybe we could make it that hotel car park where we met up for the last rerun, where that yellow Diablo was.

Rich....good idea...but why dont you want to do the full Monty ?
Yes I was proposing a halfway rest/stop but it needs to really be somewhere like a pub with some facilities, like the one we stopped at for lunch on the first days run over the water there Nr Conniston....thoughts anyone please.....do more want to do the full monty than the short route ?
Time is ticking so we need some firm decisions making please folks

Looks like a deffo for the full monty......those who ain't done this will re-live this run for a long time to come.......plus we have the added advantage of it potentially being very quiet on the roads
Where possible for people coming on their own it would be helpful for willing passengers to pair up as a co driver.....plus it's a cosy way to get to know someone new

To be honest, I much preferred the 2nd day, first day was a bit too Urban for me at the start. But day two was a blast. Lots of ton up stretches (Km/h of course)
If no one else wants to do just the second day, I'll do both, rather than be awkward
Might have a new exhaust by then too!!!

I'm deffo for the full monty but I think a half way stop is a good idea. If someone only wants to do a halfway you could mail them the midway pub stop piont and they could join us there. Hell I have to pee every five minutes so I gota have somewhere to stop.

I cannot believe I am actually free for this
I have a two week sick note that runs out a week on Friday !!!!
Bit boring being off work though, but I have needed it. Just gotta get in a few scooby meets and I shall be ready to tackle anything

We'll make the halfway stop at a good pub and any one who wimps out () of doing the full monty then mail me direct and I'll send the pub details by return

Matt....I was booked in for some additions at TSL this last thursday but my rear diff went so had to cancel the TSL trip......thanks to my superb dealers...Robinsons of Rochdale...namely John and Keith I now have a brand spanking new diff in it's place....however....I re-booked my car back into TSL for wednesday next week and had to change my diary around hence can't have the friday away.....not enough days or hours in the week etc.....
Spoke with Pete last night, are you, John and neil coming up on the saturday and staying over ? partying
