Default NBO CONVOYS

Right, as the title suggests,

i need to know details of any convoys that are planned and are definatly goin ahead.

Time, place and who will be leading them down if possible.

I want to put all these details onto the website, flyers that have been handed out seem to be giving a good response so far.

thanks

The WYIOC will be meeting at 10am at Ferrybridge Services at J.33 of the M62 in readiness for a run up the A1 to Ripon and on to LV for the 11am opening of the gates.

All other clubs are more than welcome to join us as in previous years to make a MEGA CONVOY

We'll also have a BBQ running most of the day on our stand so feel free to drop by for a chat and a bite to eat

excellent mate

if you could PM me details when you have an idea of whats going on, al get them on the site.

reason im doing this, is that with this being a charity event, i know of a few people handing out flyers to other subaru owners. Many of which have said they will go, but they do not post on SN, SIDC or .org. Many i dont think have the intention of doing so. This was the main reason for the site, to have all the info there in one place.

So people who dont use the net much can see straight away where people are leaving from, they may be more inclined to tag along.

Thats the hope anyway, there money is as good as everyone elses, all for charity..

so any help will be much appreciated

cheers

As in the last 3 years there will be a Mega Convoy from the Tyne Tees Scoobies.

Starting at Washington Services A1 Southbound leaving at 9:30am.

This convoy will then meet with the scoobs from the southern area on the TTS at Scotch Corner Services. Meeting at 10:00am leaving shortly after for a leisurely drive to LWV.

Still looking for a convoy leader for the SC to LWV stage.

Cool CONVOY LEADER REQD ####################

There is a vacency for the position of Convoy Leader

Duties include counting the number of scoobys in the Scotch corner car park keeping them amused ,and waiting to they are all in place and there has been aprox 100 for the last few NBOs

then the important task of ringing Martin with the numbers and telling martin that you are all leaving Scotch corner which is aprox 23 minutes away

Martin then tells me who gets really excited then !!!

Leading and maintaing a safe and legal speed down the road

(one major benefit of the job is looking in the Mirror and knowing you have 100 scoobys all following and under control )

and driving into the Lightwater Valley NBO4 show field and making sure you havent lost any scoobys on the way !!

This is one of the most important posts in the NBO Organisation and for the last 3 years has been done by the legendary Johny Gav who has now been promoted to Field management duties

Johny will offer full training for the position at the next TTS meeting on the 6th june

any interested person please contact us for this fantastic opportunity .

I would have offered to be the convoy leader, but no one would get to lightwater valley. I don't know the way and I'm not being responsible for countless people getting lost
