Been past Lockwood & Greenwoods in Audenshaw and they look like they are a new Scooby Dealers.
Pete at Prosport had said there was going to be one in the area. They are also Nissan now since MG went bust.
May be a few bargains to be had first through the doors.

Hello to all, yes it`s true there is a new scooby main dealer in audenshaw, Manchester, It`s ME! We are a family business and have been in the motor trade for 75 (long!) years. I have met Martin STI and as he says we have a main nissan site and the new scooby showroom just down the road. Regarding "going live" with the scoobys we are pretty much there regarding stock and parts/servicing etc. I am well aware that you guys know so much about these cars but being a total and utter petrolhead myself and pretty well up on the scoobs we hope to be up to speed v. soon. i`m hoping to get a bit more involved in the scene, if any one wants to come down and have a look round and maybe show us a thing or two feel free! just climbed out of the new 06 STI and all i can say is wow! Anyways just thought i`d say hi and confirm the rumours. Regards, Phil.

Thanks for the kind comments fellow fanatics! it`s going pretty well down here interest/sales wise which is always a good thing. Have been showing my father this site and obviously there is still so much to do but we are looking at having some open evenings open to you guys with some of the tech guys from Prodrive present who may be bringing some very special cars down for us to drool over with films, food and who knows what else.....! Anyways in the meantime if anyone needs any `special` info or help just ask.

I have some propositions for you

 

Sounds good to me CW, it was our first official day of opening today and first car sold was new WRX SL with the new 270ps PPP so i guess thats a good start. come down for a coffee and a chat whenever. i'm going to be practically living there at the moment with all that has to be done so come down and rescue me for at least a ten mins sit down! i'm wary of posting my number etc as very concious not to post tel numbers/location and not use the forum for unsolicited advertising etc and follow protocol. I't would be cool to meet some of you guys though.

Been down to Lockwood and Greenwood today.
About time we had a decent dealership in the area. Met Phil who showed me round the showroom nice spec D STI in silver.
They are in the process of setting up parts and service depts.
Should be really good when everything is complete

Well worth going down there to have a look, you never know you might be tempted

Again, many thanks to warren for his time and for the superb photos. It`s just been a great week meeting people that appreciate these cars and the technology behind them as much as myself. No need to apologise Chris I spent many years as a time served engineer so have worked more night shifts than i care to remember! when i was on a week of nights all bets were off as used to mess my body clock up no end, felt like constant jet lag! i`m looking forward to meeting you and any other club members who want to see the set up down here in the flesh. Just had a guy in asking if he can have the STI you can see in the pics on motability!!!!!! will any of you guys be at the meet on Thursday? as was going to try and call up.

Thanks for taking the time to pop down chris, i could see you had your hands full! The showroom door now proudly displays a SMACS sticker to show we are `enthusiast friendly` if nothing else. I am determined to get that black WRX pdi`d and registered this week to avoid the shame of popping up on thurs night in the smoker i am using at the moment!
