I've been emailing a local shooting range and they say £20 per person, using .22 rimfire carbines, either bolt-action (marlin or CZ) or semi-auto (Ruger), not airguns. Shooting over 25 metres.

For £20 you get gun hire, ammo (Maximum of 50 shots), targets (which you will keep), ear muffs and tea/coffee. Its in marple.

Ideally a maximum of 10 people (more hands on experience) but at a push 15 people. 4 people on the range at once. It will be either a Monday or Tuesday evening.

Probably Tue 6th June.

In fact, looking at all we've got on in May, could we not move this to June? Nothing other than the meet and the NBO planned for June so far. ??

So as not to leave Gillp95 in the same position as Andy was after organising Curborough, could we have only definate commitments for the first 10 people on this list please? That way, we can then all guarantee a good evenings shooting for the 10 definates, and start a reserve list with 5 people who may or may not turn up on the night?
Is that ok with everyone?

Unlike a run out, where it doesn't matter if you oversleep or not , things like this reflect directly on the club, as gillp95 will have to book a minimum number to turn up. If like the track day, people drop out at the last minute, and there's no-one to take thier place, it doesn't bode well for future events
