Default Anyone feel like breakfast in matlockbath Tommorow 02/04

Just an idea - Over the Cat the take the back route to Matlock Bath have Breakfast. Then a run around derbyshire maybe matlock to the Snake Pass. Alternatively Hop up to Horse Shoe Pass in Wales via the wrexham ruthin road - but there's thousands of coppers there!!!!!??

Another no I'm afraid. Just put a new set of disks and pads on the front today so I wont be caning them for about 500 miles to let them bed in.

And I'm just about to go out and get pi***d in a variety Wilmslow's finest drinking establishments for the next 6 or 7 hours (or until the cashpoint stops giving me money ). I reckon I wont be in any fit state to drive tomorrow.

Sorry Martin.

Regards,
Paul

Why? what on earth do you need 500 miles to bed them in??? If you buy performance brakes you should only need to put them through 2 heat cycles and they should be mint from then.

I've not gone for performance brakes as such, and yes i know I probably should've done - everyone keeps reminding me. Its just that I very rarely get the opportunity to use the car to it's full potential (stuck in traffic on the way to and from work etc) and for the odd weekend blast the standard brakes have done fine, if you know what i mean?

If I start getting into track days etc then I'll look into upgrading.

I'd heard a couple of people mention 500 miles as a maximum but I guess they were wrong.

Thanks for the advice.
Paul

I should have also been getting very merry tonight but can't face drink again, had far to much yesterday, a case of a friday drink after work ending with arriving some how home at 4 in the morning. Hence the last minute idea of a quick run tommorow.
