japtuner meet inc new sponsored show and shine
Hi Guys, Team-Japtuner are very pleased to announce that as of our next meet on 2nd April, www.carsparkle.com will be sponsoring a monthly competition for all attending cars, beginning with a category for 'best car' and 'best engine', the competition will be judged by carsparkle and prizes awarded will be from their excellent range of car care products.
We have also agreed an excellent members discount with carsparkle on their whole range of quality car cleaning and polishing equipment and supplies.
our next monthly meet is on 2nd April, we look forward to seeing you guys again, and dont forget if the weather does take a turn for the worst we still have the exellent facillities of the sports and social club available to us with the club lounge open for bar food and drinks

Not fookin likely, but it looks like this at the minute:
Not the best pics but you get an idea of the soggynes. Half an inch deep in some places. Interiors coming out on saturday after work if the rain holds off.

Bloody hell - that’s bad - the same thing happened in my old astra - best thing to do is sit in the car through a car wash (I know you shouldn’t do it with the thinness of scoob paint) when my astra was battered with water I looked everywhere and I found it running down the door seal rubber to the bottom where there were a tiny hole and bingo it was running in, I got a new rubber and all was fine - the carpet took ages to dry out as it had thick sponge under it.
I still cannot understand how that much water came through that tiny hole/rip but it did.
Hope this helps
Regards
Justin

When doing something like this I recommend sprinkling a film of talc on the seals and take the carpet out or peel back so that you can see the floor. This will hopefully show via the talc where the water is coming from.
