Track day Elvington Sat 20th
#1
Just a quick one to try and muster up some support for Northern track days.
Bookatrack.com have a track day on Saturday 20th January at Elvington airfield. I think it's the first one for many years and if the support is there then there will be others.
£89 for a day on a big open track - "nice"!

The Jaguar F1 Team currently use this airfield for testing. Obviously they won't be there but that will give some of you an idea of the standard of the place, in fact it is/was the longest runway in Europe.

Sounds good - would be great to get something going in this area.
Don't know if I can make it for the whole day but I will certainly try and get along to lend moral support at some time.
Great

Milky,
This is my first airfield day in my own car too, but have spoken to lots of other people who have done it before. Most popular comment is "better than sex". Trusting they aren't that bad in bed it must be good!
Try privelage for insurance for the day if you're worried. May need a spare set of tyres if your current ones are low on grip.
See you there
