NORTHERN BIG ONE 3 ##########
The Northern Big One 3 ###################
Sunday 12th June 2005
Lightwater Valley
Near Rippon
Yorkshire
11AM- 5PM
Cumbrian and Tyne Tees Scoobys are for the 3rd year again organsing the NBO 3 .
In our first year we had 423 cars and raised over £1400
Last year we had 460 cars and over £3000 was raised for charity so i know this year will be the best ever show and will smash all targets set .
It is the largest Gathering of Scoobys in the UK with people travelling from all over the UK .
Three years ago it started as a <vision> of a few scoobys meeting in a field and the NBO has grown past all expectations into the Scooby show that you must attend
For the hundreds who have attended over the last 2 years the format will be the similar winning formula ,Lots of Trade stands , Raffle and the Car of the day competion and as usual I have ordered good weather (unless the cheque gets lost in the post )
Part of the fun is all the convoys from all over the country themselves planning their own routes to Lightwater .
This year we have expanded the NBO committee and we will anounce new developments as they happen ,
Lightwater Valley will again be giving reduced admission onto the Theme Park to keep the familys happy on the day and provide refreshments and toilets etc.
AS per last year we will be asking for a £5 donation as you enter the NBO field and all the money raised will be presented to the charity after the Raffle and car awards.
You MUST REGISTER YOUR ATTENDANCE on this list as we need accurate figures of attendance so the NBO marshalls can plan the logistics of parking some 500 cars in under 1 hour on the day itself and also for the Insurance cover we need to hold the event .
