Don't ask me why, but mainly after attending this years event in march, and speaking to salsa-king who is not organising another one next year, I've stepped up to the plate to organise next years.

So, I've got a date:

SATURDAY 5th MARCH 2005.

and a location:

SOMEWHERE NEAR MANCHESTER!

To get a venue, I need an idea of numbers, if there's only going to be me and the missus, the local chip shop will do, if it's going to be anything like the attendance to this years NBO, then we'll need a VERY BIG hotel.

Format will be like this years: ie: black tie dinner, disco, entertainer, competitions. I was thinking about holding a charity auction too, and maybe inviting someone from the subaru world as a guest of honour, do you think Richard Burns would attend?

Chris you're crazy but you won't regret this.

Any idea if it's circa £100 per head or per couple/room (obviously that depends on venue etc). If you need assistance sourcing a venue let me know, I have a team in work who do that for a living and may know some of the bigger venues.

 

Cheers m8, top news already just did a quick search for mcr hotels, plenty in the area, but we need some specific facilities, not least a bloody big car park

As for someone from the Subaru world, how about Pete from ProSport. Would talk for hours, so could save on the disco & entertainment?

Dont do ties at all for nobody!! so wont be going. But as the rest of the SMACS have said any help will be gladly given.
