Pics from PUNTING In Cambridge
Wow ...
What a day / Weekend
sive respect to Sir Fozz r giving me the inspiration to go into Cambridge this morning , When to be honest it would of been easier for us to come home & Roll up on the sofa as not feeling 100% After the Scoobyball
But 12 Of us headed into the city centre , Parking in the Grafton centre & Strolling along the river Cam ,Of course stopping off @ every pub along the river for refreshments
The day was the completed by an ESC Sponsored Punt boat for nearly 1 hour return trip & Oh what fun it was
See a few pics below ( Im sure Dazza has a few more )
This trip into Cambridge was a truley memorable day & one that must be visited by the ESC Sometime again this summer , With safe parking , Lots of shops , Bars , Greens , Parks , Picnics etc & The Punts it will be a great day out for everyone
Can we fit it into the ESC Calendar though
Thanks everyone @ The Ball & Cambridge for a great Weekend

Loved Cambridge. Such a relaxed atmosphere, even in the City centre.
Punting was great, such a nice way to relax on a sunny Sunday afternoon after a cool night out.

more pics....
we're so glad we did this.... even though we were very tired when we got back.
as discussed, a full day there would be awesome and the tranquil punting was a huge
contrast to the burbling flat fours!!!!
a nice end to a perfect weekend, in our book!!!

We was just missing the Pimms & Strawberries
Our Oarsman very nearly fell in though as we hit a low bridge He dropped his pole & We all had to paddle backwards to retrieve it
Was great fun & Thanks for pointing me in the right direction

no probs mate - think it is an experience that everyone has to do at least once
the other direction to you went is a tricky section called "dead mans corner" which is infamous cos the pole dont touch the bottom and loads of peeps have fallen in there and some unfortunately did not find it funny
its just sooo civilised though and a complete contrast to the flat 4

just as well me n debs never joined you - I would have never been able to get Deb's on one of those lol
That water would be too tempting for me - "rock tha boat - come on let's rock tha boat""
Looks like a lovely place, last time I was there I was a young nipper and it was in the 30's - had same desire to jump in then
