Default WELL LANE 8 - 4TH JULY 2004 - SIGN UP FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Hi,

Due to the large number of people asking me about the next Well Lane day, I've decide to put up a thread for all those interested to register.

I've had a few PMs from people so if anyone interested can formally sign up below, I won't have to rely on memory to see who wants to run.

I already have a list of about 10 or 12, but if those people can sign in too please, that would be great.

I'll put a list up at a later date.

The format is the same as before: Max 25 cars with reserves running if people drop out on the day. We start at 9.30 at Well Lane Turbo centre, Batley near Leeds. Runs cost £25+VAT and you get a dyno printout to show all your mates down the pub.

It's a good fun day and you'll get to meet lots of fellow owners and see what mods work and whay mods don't. You can pick up some good ideas and we always have a good turnout.

COULD ALL POTENTIAL RUNNERS MAIL ME AT info@jap-innovations.co.uk
WITH THE FOLLOWING INFO:

USER NAME
REAL NAME
CAR MY AND TYPE (EG MY93 WRX)
REG NO
LIST OF PERFORMANCE MODS (if you want these mods kept off the BBS, let me know in the email)

The reason there has been such a long gap since WL7 is that the guys up there are busy nearly every Sunday with various clubs so they've decided to limit the number of RR days this year so they at least get some free weekends themselves.

Thanks

Rich

Thanks for the mails everyone. The list is filling up very fast.

As soon as I have the relevant details from people I will add them to the list on a first come first served basis. i'll post the full list incl reserves later this week.

If you don't have email you can pm me, that's fine.

Julian, those are incredibly low transmission losses (15%) that's less than some 2wd cars. You must have the worlds most efficient 4wd system. I'd be very suspicious of that result if I were you

No probs re spectating Simon, glad to have you there whatever.

Thanks

Rich

thats why i want a 2nd opinion!
that was a 4th gear run as well ( if it makes a difference!)
check out the 22b website for more details. Haveys fantactic wagon was there as well, wot a car!

some transmission loss figues from pro sports rollers

CW42 has 255BHP and has a transmition loss of 53BHP. Thats a 20% loss.
StuC has 284BHP and has a transmition loss of 54BHP. Thats a 19% loss.
*Julian has 262BHP and has a transmition loss of 46BHP. Thats a 17.5% loss.*
Notorious Rev has 288BHP and has a transmition loss of 45BHP. Thats a 15.5% loss.
Steven Darley has 358BHP and has a transmition loss of 78BHP. Thats a 21.5% loss.
Jim Litten has 241BHP and has a transmition loss of 68BHP. Thats a 28% loss.
Bob Rawle has 351BHP and has a transmition loss of 44BHP. Thats a 12.5% loss.
RichW has 322BHP and has a transmition loss of 83BHP. Thats a 25% loss.
fuz has 322BHP and has a transmition loss of 72BHP. Thats a 22% loss.

So mines not as efficent as some. Bob rawl managed only 12.5% loss.
any ideas?
