I don't remember seeing anything posted about this, so, I apologise if everyone already knows.
Riding & Co, Preston's Honda, Suzuki and Skoda dealerships are now also a Subaru dealership.
No signs up yet but they are apparently fully open for sales, servicing and parts.
Phone number is 01772 258662.

I was just passing on some information to locals.
I will probably will never let them touch my car, but next time I want a gasket or stud I'm not going to make an 80 mile round trip to Widnes when they're less than a mile away!

In terms of all things scooby, at the moment it looks like they couldn't organise the proverbial drinking session in a brewing establishement.
It took them over a week to quote me for my 12 month body service after i called in last tuesday, and how did they eventually come up with the figure? They phoned a scoob dealer in cheshire (£145) and the one at st helens (£140), so quoted me £140. After a little discussion between a friend and a senior figure he knows at the dealership, this has now come down to £110.
At the same time, i asked for a quote for contract hire as i'm looking for a company car to run in addition to my own scoob. I'm still waiting for it nine days later. I did get a phone call after a week to say they'd not forgotten... problem with their dealer code with IMF, blah blah blah.... (i got bored and stopped listening). I'm still waiting.
In contrast, i emailed Ian at Stan Palmer in Carlisle at 11:30 last tuesday night to ask the same questions. He'd replied before 9:15 the following morning with quotes for both. Thanks Ian.
If i wasn't so stuck for time at the moment, i'd be off up to carlisle; it's difficult to ignore a dealer that i drive past every day on my way to work.
John.
