Sorry about the delay .... you know how it is..!!

In the beginning was a braincell ..... my braincell, yes, just the one... and that braincell give way to a thought ... the thought got posted, and the post generated interest ... the interest gave way to a plan, the plan got confirmed, and then produced meets .. and the meets proved to be ...more than good ..!!

The first meet,

happened about 4pm ...when the travellers from North Wales met in Llandudno junction ....and it was good!!

The 2nd meet,

happened at Helsby around 5pm, where a local boy, met up with the travellers from North Wales .... in all around 5 Scoobynetters met here, and this also proved to be good .... and ontime..!!

The 3rd meet,

happended around 5.15pm, at Runcorn, were one redwrx (and brother - in green Cavalier)joined the travelling crew ...... a meander across the infamour Runcorn bridge, complete with traffic queues ...but yet, it proved to be good, very good infact and yet again on time..!!

The 4th Meet,

At around 5.45 the Burtonwoood services meet took place, and also several other meets (including the smacs meet in Stockport - and several others) ....... in all around 11 Scoobs were now together ...and as the evidence below shows, this also proved not good , but exceptional ..!!!!



The 5th Meet ..

After a short drive up the M6, to Charnock Richard services .... the following could hardly have ever been imagined ... Scoobies appeared, and appeared and Appeared ... from all over..!! Lancaster, Leeds .................36 were counted i belive at this point as we left.










It definately WAS good ..!!!!

The 6th meet ..

Well this should have been at Yeadon Way car park ....but a slight problem with traffic conjestion meant we could get all get in ... >>>



and so thanks to some local knowledge, a short trip to the local focus DIY ..... and some serious fun on the roundabout getting into it ... you can only imagine what the people stuck watching must have been thinking ...

but ...thanks to the Focus security who made us all feel very welcome, including inviting to the local ECILOP to give their best wishes ,,>>>>






my little girl told the ECILOP ..." daddies brought some friends to see the lights" ...clearly i need to speak to her school around the definition of the word 'some' ...!!!!!

The 7th meet ...was meant to have been a drive through the lights from South to North ....... but such was the amount of people who had come out to see us ... it was a nite mare trying to get into the queue ... and so a re-group at Blackpool airport ...

but then 'once again thanks to local knowledge' ...

a trip down some very interesting lanes, via the TVR garage ... and we came out at the North End of the lights ... and then >>>>>

this was the queue trying to get onto the roundabout at the top end of the lights...yes all those white lights are scoobies ..



and still they came round that roundabout >>>





daddy, there's the fair .. yes i know!! .. "good observation kids"



they came by the bus load to see us .. >>>



the locals just stood and stared ..!!! ummmm' .. i think my scoobydoo sensor has spotted something..!!! >>>



well done Scooby ..??? >>>



but, im sure it wasn't that warm ...!!!!!

Sadly all good things come to an end , and the occasional little sprint above 5mph >>>





A final regroup at the airport, and then on to McDonalds for some food .... we even caused a massive queue in McDonalds ....lmao

And then on our separate ways home...


Most definately .....IT WAS GOOD ...!!!!

that was a good story frank and some great pics , lets hope the finale is even better ,so come on everyone who hasn't yet put their name down register so we can make it an even bigger and better event for the local folk in blackpool to see .
