Ok chaps, here it is, the next meet of the crew.
Usual meeting place if you please, and the route will be from here, so no meeting at mcd's in macc!
I will sort out a route, and email it to you soon, so get your name down if your coming.
we meet here just where the map says "DOOLEY" in Dooley Lane at 7:30pm.
I'm going to include the Edale road in the route again, so lets hope its not too busy,
chris.

Hi missyc, yes, I may be out this evening, but it is more over towards glossop, hayfield, chinley, the wash, rushup edge, edale, hope, barbar booth, snake, glossop route!
Could do with a navigator actually to check the mileage as I drive, you up for it?

you use a brush after using one on my rims it took the anthrasite cover off alot of the spokes

use a small sponge now and do it more regular (even though its washed every other day and polished once or twice a week)

Just got back in so missed your post After a BBQ other side of Sheffield coming home (A57) I did most of the above route in reverse (except Edale!!!) Slow vehicles easy to pass this evening

Had I come straight back instead I could have come out for a spin with you and noted mileage/details etc. Ah well

How does everyone feel about a drive over the tops to Huddersfield. The South Yorks lot are all meeting at my mates pub (Fenay Bridge) at 9pm. Its a nice pub and its a nice drive over there. What do you reckon Chris? Would be good to go as they hope to have about 20 of them............... could call it the Northern small one!

mad, we have a route already planned, and andy_s and I went over it last night to check it out. 50.3 miles long, nice and twisty, 5 speed cameras!
We are meeting with the south yorks crew next week I think.I just have to revise the route map, and then I will post on steelx's forum and mail to those that are not on there.
see you wednesday,
chris.

Question

Holiday visitors should be all but done and dusted in a fortnight or so (schools back on 2/3 Sept). Then Derbyshire driving will be much more of a pleasure

You would be no good on a rally Gav. they are all junctions telling you which way to go quick and easy to read.

Pop me on the list as a 50/50 - I'll be able to confirm tomorrow night (Tuesday) once I've got back into work. Send me the route anyway so I can have a look at it though.

You worked it out yet gav?? hehe. I got the idea from both rallying, and also from a mountainbike magazine. It is an easy way to show what to do when you get to a junction.
Hope it works! Although you shouldn't have much difficulty with the route, as it is fairly straight forward.

XXXXX ATENTION PEOPLE XXXXX

last night a mate of mine who lives round the corner from me had his scoob broken into. they cut the alarm and scarpered when it went off. his mum looked out the window and saw nobody or nothing wrong so went back to bed. they then came back, lifted the bonnet and tried it on with the immobiliser. but with no success they left. this morning he comes down to go to work and his scoobs sat on his drive with the bonnet up

this is a warning to all who live near me, Chris in particular as you don't live far away..

be carefull peeps and watch out for people following you.

gav..
