if poss could this be made sticky please for people to add their names?

sunday 13th is the next car day at elvington, we are hoping to run timed handling in addition to the usual 1/4m and top speed.
63 cars attended the last event and had a great time.
i need confirmed names please of people wanting to run their car so we can set some costs this week.
if its just 1/4s and top speed it will be 30 quid for unlimited runs again. if we get enough interest in doing the handling we can put that on, although cost may be higher. if enough people confirm it may not work out a lot dearer.
Peccy will confirm he managed 32 runs last time which was great value, although he did need a clutch n box after! lol

please add your name to this thread asap only if you will take part.
spectators etc welcome but dont add names, just turn up on the day, cover charge on gate is 5 or 6 quid per adult, kids free
cheers
chris m

ps will be adding a date later in sept/october for the official scooby only shootout as i have had it confirmed we can run one later on

ok cheers
i'm struggling to get confirmed names from most groups, i think a lot of people are still building cars for totb2. it is the only date at elvington for cars until way after totb2 anyway, and is open to anyone regardless of car/power!
keep adding your names please peeps!
cheers

Stephen: Either John Pye Motors (01388 661107) Tindale Crescent, Bishop Auckland or Mark at Import Car Parts, Staindrop Road West Auckland (01388 834204)can sort your gearbox problem out and possibly on a same day basis. Mark has supplied and fitted several gearboxes, same day for people on this board from quite long distances away, on a same day basis.
John could fit a box if he has one but is more likely to rebuild the box himself. He is ace at gearbox and diff rebuilds but that may take a few days subject to parts required although he does carry a large stock of spares. If you got the box out and to him I might be able to return it to you in the Leeds area.

right, will have to confirm midweek but its looking like we will just run a cheaper/simpler event due to numbers confirmed so far.
what is now proposed is a simple single lane 1/4m and 1.25m top speed flying run on the main runway, plus a tricky timed sprint cct on the concrete area
cost will be £30-40 max per car as majority of people were saying thats all they wanted/needed etc.
spectating 5 quid each.

continue to add your names/pass it on as reqd, the more the merrier
cheers
