Due to circumstances beyond my control (police involvement) this proposed camping trip has reluctantly been postponed until later in the year (on advice from the police 
).
I will not discuss openly the reasons behind this decision (although 2 of you already know the details) for anyone else wanting to know why then please feel free to mail me seperately and I will explain the best I can.

you mean that we might be able to camp in fine weather then
There is no point in trying to upset plod, but we are all such nice folks - maybe we should invite them along for the day/evening

Lol @ boomer....I offered the very same thing....they refuted saying they'd struggle to keep up......unless they put their blue light on
To be frank....they would rather us have the trip in Aug/Sept believing that the roads will be far quieter the fact that they had my personal details and requested a route plan to be faxed through to them gave me the shivvers

Awh, that's a bugga
I can't see why anyone should get priority on the road, we all get shafted by the same amount
Still, at least they asked nicely beforehand instead of just ambushing us

Sorry to hear it mate but best co-operate with them, if we are seen to be 'on-side' and behaving responsibly then it will be better
Sept dates are free atm, Muppet Camp is supposed to be 16th/17th of August, venue TBA.
