After a succesful "spirited" drive out on Wednesday night, I thought we should arrange another get together (read: night off from Mrs, Kids, Bills etc). I'm not trying to steal Chris'(CW42) captains chair but the other thread was very long and was maybe putting some off (idle bugg@rs!). The last drive was a cracking one and the more cars go, the better it'll be. Video footage and expert editing courtesy of CW42!

ok, here is the meeting place,
otterspool

if you zoom out from the map, you can see a pub just before the road goes over the river in an s bend. that is called the "hare and hounds". it has a sizable car park, and is quite nice inside. The most important bit though is the proximity to some of the nicest roads in the peak district, and some local roads too.
see you wednesday the 14th may at the hare and hounds, otterspool, marple, stockport at 19:30.

Right, edited the footage. It is 30 mins long, with a mix of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and the Foo Fighters on, which seems to have worked. I will transfer it to VHS tomorrow, and make a shorter version for my website so everyone can have a look.
That camera mount is awesome, and on monday, I think I will have a go at some external shots!

hehe, I'm getting good at that! You should see some of my home movies, we did Disneyland Paris earlier this year, and I had animals doing all sorts of noises, hehe.

Right, lets see if this works, cat & fiddle run
that is a direct link to my bt website, with a 7 minute section of film taken last wednesday night. The full video is 30 mins long, and would take up way too much bandwidth on my site.
It should only take you about 5 mins to download if you have broadband, (a couple of days on dialup?)
This section of film is from right at the bottom of the cat & fiddle road, just before the right turn up Buxton Old Road, all the way to the pub at the top, where we had to stop because I was bursting for a pee by then!
I have studied it carefully, and you can't make out any numberplates, so we should be ok.
The cars in front of me are scoobygav555 and madscientist.
