Dave, I was going to come along to spectate - got a mate who should have finished restoring his RS2000 by then. I'll have a word with the lads at Tyne Tees Scoobies at our next meet to see if we can get some cars organised.

I could be interested. Never done a track day before. What is involved? Will I get bullied by faster cars the owners of which can afford to have the dents repaired?

Croft is a good track for your first track-day. It is usually well marshalled so you shouldn't get any problems from the more experienced drivers. just take it at your own pace and enjoy the day.

Sounds like a plan

 

As the 6th is a Sunday let me know if you guys are coming up on the Saturday and we can arrange some local entertainment. Darlington is 6 mls away and there are several local hostelries, the nearest being 1/2 mile down the road from the circuit.
Optimax is available at three sites in Darlington and one in Northallerton.
If anybody needs more info let me know.
