I'm going to speak to a few of the local clients (not on Scoobynet) and see who wants to come along...if we get enough interest then I am sure Harewood will set aside an area just for us Scoobs ;-)

Brother should be taking part in his Escort Mk1 (Class 2) giving it some as per usual
Not sure that it counts as a round for the Mid Cheshire Championship so might just play that little bit harder and get the @rse out properly !
Something along these lines http://www.btinternet.com/~blackscooby/Escort_cur.jpg
Taken at Curborough having a play. Sadly can't make it myself so have a top day.
Cheers
Mark

Just remembered. The Escort is only there on the Saturday I think, as its elsewhere on Sunday.
I've only competed in the Escort once this year, and it rained !
Wasn't competative one bit, but what a laugh. Sideways on demand.
Have a look at this video clip of me in the car coming towards Farmhouse bend. http://www.btinternet.com/~blackscooby/Escort.AVI
I think its best if you save as. **3.7MB File **

The BARC Yorkshire Centre 'Times' has not printed the times, a call to Pat Kenyon is in order me thinks.
It is the 40th anniversary of hillclimbing at Harewood, 80th of the Yorkshire Centre and the 90th of the BARC - no Tom, I wasn't a founding member
Saturday is supposed to have classes for Porche and Ferrari with Sunday for MG. With an air display thrown in it should be a good day out - weather permitting of course.
Ken

Would like to meet up. Where and when? (bearing in mind I'm having my hair cut at 9am Sat) D'oh, missed the sunday comment, it doesn't take me a whole day to get my hair cut! There's not much left to cut anyway

Good day had today.
Went along with the Huddersfield Motor club for the annual abuse of the field in the name of autotesting and had a good luck round at the various other motors on display including the prodominantly WR blue Scooby stand.
Anyone who was there may have seen the fiesta we modified for the autotest with the use of nothing more than an angle grinder and lump hammer......not pretty but very effective.
Anyway, pub calling
Kev

Top, top day - people local to this should not miss it next year!
Everything was running... Some examples...
Pip pip old boy!
Kudos to the chap above, he took that behemoth and hammered it around the track! Rumours that it was running on sherry are (possibly) untrue. Brilliant.
Slightly more modern...
What we're used to - very nice car, lovely mods...
From the Bentley to this!
Caterham JPE with over 300bhp and simply stunning modifications - Quaife box, full Touring car engine/turbo etc... Wow!
And finally, a westie. Shame I didn't get some of the wonderful opposite lock action on this corner, or the mini near rolling it but keeping it vertical (if not on the track)...
Cheers for posting this again Rum, top day. MUST make more of an event of it next year, it's a brilliant day out!

How were the times for Richard in the "Yellow Peril" Evo ?
Used to compete against that when I used to take part in my 'ld Scoob. Didn't stand a chance.
Now I think he's running full MoTec and everything. It used to be astonishing
