I`m in Penrith, so if there ever is or you can count me in.
If your reading this and your in the lakes post one up and perhaps we can organise a little meeting. One one of the threads I saw an idea for a rolling meet pub to pub to pub. . . this could be a good idea for our area.

Hello guys
I am often up in the lakes as my folks live near Coniston - cracking bit of road between Grenodd and Coniston
'cept if there are caravans about 
If there is a bit more interest, we should organise a meet at a pub one evening or try the rolling meet on a weekend. I am not a big pub person as prefer to spend my tokens at the petrol station

rusty - i used to live up there and know that road to Coniston pretty well - i always found the wandering sheep to be more of a problem than the vans..!

Hello MrDBM - I am also a MY00 DBM, but a Sport, not a turbo.
I have been to Wildings twice - once to look at buying a car (I ended up getting my Sport in Sevenoaks!) and the second time to get them to quote me on some headlight protectors - they never called me back!
I will keep trying them as I will probably end up getting my servicing done there...

rusty - just wondering as i found them to be pretty pants... said they were gonna call re: available s/h buys but never did.
Still, that was a while ago I guess - will keep an eye out when i'm up there next..!
