Can of worms mate, but welcome to the forum.
There are a few that come recommended and others to keep away from due to the sheer amount of negative reviews. Personally I've used Andy Carr on a classic.

cheers mate it’s going to TEG motorsport the end of the month for a cam belt and water pump pulley change etc. I’ve decided to go with them for a remap I feel quite confident in them doing so. have you or anyone else heard anything about them

They have had good reviews in the past. Andy used to map out of there.

Should be good for 360bhp at least with sports cat and 3" system.
But you may need an uprated actuator to hold boost, and a 3 port bcs.
I'd also replace your fuel pump at 14 years old, and add a fuel pressure regulator.
I'm on 356bhp on a standard cat and system, with the above.
Fresh O2 sensors are also quite wise at that age.
I've had reasonable reports of Andy Carr on jdm hatches, plus Enginetuner, Andy Forrest and Bob Rawle
