On the whole I think you're doing a great job However....
I can understand why some members get a bit narked when their posts get vaped. I fully understand that you're trying to keep the board "clean" and keep any "issues" away from the forum. I do think that posts should remain unless they are in breach of scoobynet's terms and conditions. As a club we'll never be a group of angels, we're all human and we're bound to have the odd fall out here and there. If members aren't happy with the content of someone's post they can use the infraction system, RTM or the rate post option.
That said ..I think you've got a thankless job Claire and you're bound to be in the firing line all the time.
We've all got a responsibility in making this club work, if we all end up pulling in different directions then we'll all end up on our ar$es
LOL all theses post I keep making today, it must be time I went back to work and kept out of trouble

Lesley I havnt removed any threads or posts until 5 mins ago.
As a moderator it is my job to keep the smooth running of the club. If people dont like the way Im doing the job then say and somebody else can have a go.

I wasn't thinking of any threads/posts today. Nor was I referring to any of my own posts. I think you're doing a great job . I was trying to highlight where others might be getting a bit miffed at times. For example Aileen's thread saying SORRY to everyone had vanished by Saturday. Now I realise you did it with the best of intention but sometimes things can't always be swept under the carpet and club members have to resolve things themselves. Granted they might need a prompt to keep it off the forum if it's personal.
Basically it's unfair for club members to expect you to be a referee in their disputes or for member to rely on you to keep things clean.
Please don't feel that I'm being too critical of you as I do think you've got a crappy job to do and while you continue to shoulder the responsibility, others will keep their heads below the radar and let you.
You're doing a great job in my opinion

No one should have a go at anyone. it takes two people to fall out and by the time its gone round the houses the two people involved have made up... so please lets all just move on...
And we all should do the best for the club everyone is doing a great job...
