Was i out of order today?
Long story short i was sitting in my mums front room minding my own business when out corner of my eye i see a teenage lad run past my car, stop come back and starts trying to play a drum solo on the roof with his hands, i rush outside tell him where to go and so he runs off nearly snapping my wing mirror as he goes, 5 minutes later a man and woman are knocking on my mums and when i answer it they start accusing me of being a bully and a thug and shouldnt verbally abuse their SERVERY AUTISTIC son...... how the **** was i supposed to know he was like that

Just because the lad may have been autistic and not entirely accountable for his actions doesn't mean you have to sit back and watch him mistreat your car. Being autistic doesn't mean he's stupid and telling him to bu99er off won't do him any harm.
What was the alternative recommended action, let him dent the roof and then you go and ask his parents for payment for repairs? Yeah I can see that working

was mainly just standing there listening to what a **** i was etc, things werent helped when my dad asked what was going on and then he said..... oh yeah thats the village idiot im always saying to your mother it should be on a lead, then he turned round and went back in

My cousin is Autistic and only 5 years old and knows the difference between right and wrong.
Hate it when people use their disability as an Excuse, the lad probably isn't and just claiming Disability for him

And no, you weren't out of order. What are you meant to do out of these options
1. Nothing, let him dent your roof (possibly)
2. Give him a bollocking
3. Give him a slap
I think most rational people would go for 2, as you did.
