Ever notice how all the locks are pristine and brand new? It's because it's by and large faked, but as light hearted entertainment it's not the worst thing on TV!

Fast 'n' Loud is my favourite.... it's crap, but good crap

This is something I've started watching as well, they are quite good. It's not all about profit, I've seen them taking quite a serious hit a few times.

I used to watch repo men but its always repeats, I know it's all fake but makes good entertainment when there's nothing on.

Yeah whenever they go to an auction they get burned LOL! I do enjoy it, it's not deep or anything, but it is pretty well made and they are actually quite amusing with their banter!

Shipping wars is quite often good to watch, quite surprising what some of them can shoe horn into a trailer.

"Oh man , this is all junk , a bag of dirty clothes , a broken pram , a bucket with a hole in it . . . . . .but hang on . . . . . here's a vintage hand gun from the 1920's ! "

Also , I like the way they just put a value on everything , "oh thats 20bucks , that's 50, these old vinyl records are 30 , that 15 year old sofa is 150bucks......, I've just made about $200 profit on this unit"

Yeah mate , you have to sell it 1st.

I don't think I've seen them turn a profit out of those auctions yet, Where they tend to make their cash is quick sales. buy a car tidy it up a bit and flog it quick without turning them into hot rods and stuff.

Yes or when they get the car silly cheap in the first place that then leaves lots of room for profit. Some cool cars on there though!

This is my point, it's comedy entertainment. Yes they do get some deals sometimes but most of it is crap. The banter is funny though

I like these shows, there's a few similar ones though, storage hunters, storage wars, storage wars Texas and storage wars New York. Some of the episodes are quite funny but I think some are quite obviously staged, as you've already said, especially the fighting. When they get together for a scrap it reminds me of the sort of fighting you get in soaps, just a push and a shove and some of the nicer items look like they've been placed there for the purpose of the show. I did like it when Brandon thought he'd got a Lambo and it just had a little crappy engine it. He got a tessler sports car as well but obviously electric powered.

Lizard Lick Towing is another one of the trash series. I caught an episode the other day and a particular scene tickled me. An employee of LLT turns up to repossess a car, a big burly woman with tattoos and piercings galore. She walks in to the garden where the car is parked and the bloke whose car it is walks out. ' Ya know why I'm here?' the woman barks in her hillbilly twang. 'Er no, is the circus in town?' replies the man. **** funny and as comebacks go a good one.

Two "Storage Wars" classics were the Isetta bubble car under the tarp that they all thought was a fish tank, and the guy who got slagged off for buying a pile of newspapers that turned out to be "Dead Elvis" editions worth $90,000.

Never heard of lizard lick towing, I'll look out for that one. I've also been watching Hardcore Pawn, anybody watch that? There's some proper nut jobs on that show, they don't give the citizens of Detroit a good name for themselves that's for sure lol

all good entertainment, just like American wrestling all entertainment, if you take them for what they are you can enjoy them. Allot of things are scripted and controlled to make them look almost real but it makes decent tv if you like that sort of thing.

I enjoy a good episode of Lizzard Lick, Storage wars/hunters etc.

As bad as some of these shows are they are way better than the f**king sh1tty soaps that dominate ITV and Tax TV every night. Now that is TV for the moronic majority!

I like Gold Rush. It has to be set-up, I can always tell when things are about to go pear-shaped.
