Default Reamer Kit Value

Find some quite interesting gear in my Dads old workshop.

According to my boss (Marine Engineer for about a zillion years) there are worth a fair bit.

Biggest I can see if 30mm and underneath there is the hand tool as well.

Any ideas?

Depends a lot on the condition of the cutting edges, some of them are likely to be knackered because they've obviously not been stored correctly.

I would try taking it to a specialist vintage tools dealer.

They have been in the box shown, in a workshop for nearly 20 years! Cutting edges actually look good. Will clean them up at the weekend.

I meant the ones left loose in the bottom of the box, if they've been banging around against each other their cutting edges will be knackered. If they've not been moved around they'll probably be OK.

A decent reamer is ££££'s.

I recently wanted one 4.8mm parallel. They started at £20

I was lucky enough to drop on a a new old stock of one with a Morse taper shaft, and got it for £8....

Would be nice to sell them as a set, but I can see me selling them individually.

Here is a pic showing the hand tool.
