The Tories know that the key to recovery, in the UK, is booming house prices.

And they have fired that starting pistol well and truly ...... they will not apply the brakes for the next 15 months.

In their final year in power they will manufacture a boom in wages and take home pay via clever trickery on short term tax relief.

Steve, how could we (the majority) feel better off? After 5 years of stagnation and austerity it will take more than a few quarters of growth to bring us all back to where we were.

However that does not mean that we aren't growing. So are are growing but we aren't suddenly be back to 'normal'

Its probably people like yourself that started the ball rolling on houses as after going through one of the worst recessions we will ever see the prices never dropped to where you lot thought you would grab a bargain Sensible people realise if they want somewhere to live they have to buy as people can't afford to rent as rents are just too high.
