It's only hard because there is such a fuss about it.
I decided last May that I could no longer afford my 40 year old habit so I stopped. Kept a pack of cigs in my drawer but never got a huge desire to tear the pack open.
I had some nicotine lozengers which helped.
Just DO IT.
Well done and good luck.

Hey, Cooksie! Good luck with it! I stopped ages ago, I did.
Continue with whatever you're doing to stay away from it. Get an e-*** if you get cravings. E-*** means you're still doing nicotine intake but not tar and other crap, so that should also be removed from your shopping list in future.
Good luck again, keep going without it.

Nicolites with tobacco flavour 16mg cartridges 200 puff a cartridge ! Have tried other flavours but just crave it more! So stuck with tobacco flavour so it makes you feel like you are smoking the real thing!
I smoked heavily I would say! Roll ups no filters and a lot!! Nearly done day 1 just on the e cig!!

USE CHAMPIX if you can still smoke after day 10 on them, then you have no chance, after day 7 on these tablets **** taste so grose its like your first *** as a teen everytime, they change the way pleasure receptors work in your brain, ask your doctor for them, they worked for me

I gave up 10 years ago this July, saved appx £26 a week = £ 13520. It does get easier, I used the patches for about 3 months then it was down to good old fashioned will power! good luck stick with it.

Well day 9, and I've knocked the nicotine replacements on the head today as well. Definitely started to turn a corner, and I'm convinced I'm healthier already.

I gave up a year ago and it was one of the best life decisions I have made. I find hikes a lot easier, I've got into studying Judo due to feeling more "up for it", I can tase food better which, in my line of work, is of paramount importance. My skin looks a lot better (yeah yeah I know!) and I 'm sleeping better. Couldn 't imagine doing it again tbh.
