how long till the taliban are back in control of afganistan again. bearing in mind its take ten years to get to whee it is now, about 2 years sound right?

I dont know a single peson whos been out there who says the place is anywhere near ready.

Remember the election coming up.No doubt Dave will make it sound like a fantastic victory & make a big song & dance about the services coming home.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense has seen for years that it is a complete waste of time,money & more importantly lives.

Afghans don't have a concept of 'state' like the west.The country is huge & has groups of tribes.

I give it 6 months tops.


The main thing is they are coming home.Thank God.Absolute waste of our finest.
