Saturday night... What you doing?
What are you guys and gals on with?
I'm at a charity do in a swanky hotel, a little out of my league but felt the need considering work sponsored the event.
It's called FEW charity (Furniture for Education Worldwide). Enable povet stricken countries to ensure schools have adequate resources to educate children. Anyway it's about raising alertness and cash, so it'll be an expensive night no doubt. Raffles for cars and home cinemas etc. hmmm just better keep the wife under control and hide my credit cards!
Hope you all have a good'n!

Cant say I fancy a charity thing haha! As long as there is some decent beer/rum available it should be alright though ;
Im preparing for a big mine exploration trip tomorrow, getting all the ropes cleaned, all the abseil/srt equipment cleaned and set up.
Setting up my new Sony AS15 action cam on my helmet etc so I can capture it all on video and generally making sure I have everything I need!
So far we are taking about 600metres of rope and all the SDS drills and bolting kit etc!

Just back from Scotland, had a 600 mile round trip to collect my daughter... Been up since 7am and just got in bed for an hour, got work at 10.30 tonight until 7am Knackered, the weather is crap but it's worth it for the money...
Good luck with the fundraising! If they are raffling any naughty women off let me know

Couple of beers and bed for me, been cutting up 1 metre logs all day using a circular saw bed jobbie attached to a tractor, handled about 15 /20 ton and i'm totally fcuked, not looking forward to going into the woods to fell another 150 square metres over the winter, should be in pretty good shape come the summer though.
