Hi !
Just thought I would pop in and say hello, been neglecting my oldest and favourite haunt, accidentally clicked the link and had a pang of nostalgia and guilt, whats been going on ?
Same old same old here, got a new car in the shape of a 2007 350Z convertible, other than that and a wonky Thyroid its business as usual.
Who else is still lurking ?

Yeah, loving it, seems very new and solid after my 944, sounds epic, more epic than it should as realised that the back box has parted company from the rest of the system so new system on the way. Got it for a really good price, the car that is so have some spare to faff about with it.
Its fairly quick, it isnt going to set the world on fire but has a useful shove and corners really nicely.
Worst part is 490 quid VED and 20 odd mpg, however am anticipating at 33k and being a jap car it should be fairly dependable and not require the constant spending that the Porshe did.

Porsche was too needy, spent ages welding new metal in and swapping parts trying to trace a hot start problem, I got £250 more than I paid for it but spent a lot more than that, as for Nissan bits, hoping it won't need much other than routine stuff, plus there is a good aftermarket.

Backbox for 350Z is around £600 if I recall. I was lucky to find a complete system off an almost new car for £80 as the owner swapped for a Nismo.
Good luck with the car and watch out for Nissan's expensive parts!
